When you think about your future does it create excitement or does it trigger your past. The answer to that question will depend on what you are looking at.
So often we are identifying with the contents of our mind rather than actually spending time imagining and creating a picture ( a vision) of what we truly want.
I know because I have been mind identified way too much and kept myself in a holding pattern for goodness knows why.
As some of you may know I took a pretty significant hit in 2010. I experienced 3 major losses all in a short space of time. Let me tell you, those losses nearly took me out of the game, if it wasn’t for my 3 amazing children and a stubbornness to succeed I could have been history. Fortunately I also attracted a brilliant Self Study program in that year and it has been my guiding star.
What I have come to see for myself is that I was buying my sad story, over and over and keeping myself stuck and then self berating because I should know better, right.
Being a long term student of personal development there is a danger of over analysing. Some self reflection is great. Learn the lesson and move on. But over reflecting – on everything – to find the gem is insane, at least that is what I have come to know.
Focusing on my vision and only on my vision has me vibrating at a high rate, I feel better about myself and I look for possibilities. When I am replaying my sad story I am spiralling and not in a good way.
Abraham ( Esther Hicks) speaks about your internal guidance system. We are designed to feel good and when we don’t we are buying our story and not focusing on our vision.
Its pretty simple really so why do we complicate it so much. Who knows and who cares. Just focus on what makes you feel good, look to your vision, create a vision board to help to stay focused and take action inspired by your vision. Do this for a month and see what difference it has on your life.
Do you have a story that is keeping you stuck? let me know and we can set up a time to speak and I can talk you through a process to help consolidate this process for you.
