One of the successful Home Businesses I created when my children were small was a commercial cake business. The picture above is my signature cake – The Hazelnut Torte and it is delicious. Over the years I have had many people ask me how to recreate my torte, my daughter does a great version, but most just don’t seem to pull it off. I offer pointers as to how stiff to beat the egg whites before adding the sugar, the intent you set before you back etc.

To me baking is a great analogy for creating our lives by our own design.  We have to find our ideal recipe for creating our life the way we want it to be. What I mean by that is, we can’t keep listening to rubbish and negativity ( inside or outside ourselves) and expect to have an uplifted and creative mind. To be creative we must be feeling good.

We have to choose what we are putting into our mixing bowl ( our mind). We can choose to sit down and watch other people’s dramas or we can can selectively choose uplifting, creative juices stirring programs and conversations.

We all have a story and those stories leave impressions, some deeper than others, however we all have a choice. We either make choices or we make excuses. I took that sentence from an awesome Release The Past & Flourish podcast – it’s free to listen. It’s tapping into positive uplifting potential mind shifting material on a regular basis that will begin to shift your life and before you know it you will be facing the direction of your desires.

This is a practice, a daily commitment to yourself and your loved ones to be the best version of you and to create the life that you truly deserve to live.
